The hotel was opened under &Beyond's management in 1998, completely renovated in 2014.
The Lodge is in the Okavango Delta, on a private area of over 27000 hectares, bordering with the Moremi desert reserve. Architects Michaelis Boyd and Nick Plewman implemented the original design of the house in the form of cocoons, imitating a lizard.
Reed cottages are covered with a woven canopy of wild palms,fig trees and blend in with the surrounding plants. Cottages' interiors are made in a natural style that creates a calm atmosphere. Only natural materials such as silk, leather and wood are used in interior decoration.
There is an outdoor terrace with river views, bedroom, bathroom, outdoor shower, fan, mosquito nets, outdoor shower, safe, hairdryer and two sinks in the rooms.
Hotel offers a restaurant with veranda, «Boma» outdoor dining room, lounge, swimming pool, wine cellar, souvenir shop, library, Laundry facilities and Babysitting services on request and organizing of leisure activities.
