Sossusvlei Desert Lodge opened its doors in 2001.
The Lodge is surrounded by mountains, in the midst of sand and desert dunes, on a private Namib-Rand nature reserve.
The Lodge is built in the original architectural style from mostly natural materials. Villas are made of stone and wood, covered with reed roof, with panoramic glass windows-walls for the dunes observation, private pools and cozy terraces. The interior design is in contemporary style with African touches.
Each Villa consists of a bedroom, living area, bathroom with a shower, additional outdoor showers, and is equipped with a fireplace, air conditioning, fan, minibar and hairdryer.
The lodge features indoor and outdoor dining terraces and a bar.
It offers international cuisine and a selection of local dishes and excellent wines.
A cozy bar with a fireplace offers an excellent variety of drinks and light snacks.
