The restored Inkaterra La Casona building dates back to the end of the XVI century and is considered to be the first city building in the Spanish architectural style. During its history, the hotel was as a haven for conquistadors, changed owners and was rebuilt according to their tastes until the twentieth century, when it gained the status of a historical monument and opened its doors as a hotel.
