Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef off the North-East coast of Australia, stretching along the mainland shoal for almost 2,500 km. Its structure is formed by billions of tiny organisms known as coral polyps. This underwater work of art is one of the most famous and colorful attractions in Australia and it is the only result of organisms' life on earth that can be seen from the Space. The largest coral ecosystem on our planet has more than 2,900 individual coral reefs and 900 Islands in the Coral Sea. On the Islands of Hyman and Bedarra there are the luxurious resorts.
