San Francisco

San Francisco is a city of an amazing beauty, mysteries and dozens of hills. It is often called in America as «the west coast pearl». People come here to see the famous bridge over the Golden Gate Channel, to ride local trams and visit Alcatraz, the most terrible prison in America. Among the main attractions is also worth noting the Fisherman's Wharf – a wide promenade with piers, cozy restaurants and magnificent views of the ocean. It got its name during the gold rush, when a great number of fishermen gathered here for catching crabs. This tradition is still alive. There are a lot of interesting places, museums and parks to visit. The most iconic one is the Golden Gate Park that is often shrouded in fog and impresses with the flowers' conservatory, a beautiful botanical and traditional japanese garden with its small ponds, pagodas, bridges and a tea room. San Francisco is very unique. Similar in some way to Florence and in some way to Boston, this city will offer something interesting to everyone for sure.
